In Switzerland, hospital data are published by hospitals on the basis of Article 59a of the Health Insurance Act (KVG) and Article 31 of the Health Insurance Ordinance (KVV).

About 280 hospitals with about 570 locations publish case numbers for about 405 diagnosis and procedure information in addition to general information.
